Brett Favre has full support of teammates

Minnesota Vikings players didn't know what to expect of Brett Favre when he arrived on Aug. 18, chauffeured in an Escalade by their head coach and tracked by a TV helicopter like O.J.
Young players naively embraced the move, relishing a chance to play alongside someone they watched as youngsters while older players skeptically embraced the move, wondering about Favre's impact on a team that already had lofty expectations. Many veteran players look at the bottom line of a situation with the objectivity of a Fortune 500 CEO, and their primary question in Minnesota was this: Were they getting a legend or lemon?Favre is one of the game's all-time most decorated players -- three MVPs, 10 Pro Bowls, countless NFL records -- but he also collapsed at the end of the 2008 season, as his New York Jets squandered a division title and playoff spot by losing four of the final five.
